Originally from Shanghai, China, I arrived in Canada in 2015, eager to explore career opportunities. However, I repeatedly encountered the discouraging response, "We are not hiring.". This experience ignited my passion for supporting small businesses in their growth endeavors. At trade show, I engaged with numerous local small businesses who voiced common concerns: costly packaging, daunting minimum order requirements, and challenges in sourcing products both locally and internationally—motivated by their challenges. I made the decision to initiate initiatives aimed at nurturing the growth of their businesses.
Prior to Fortunesart, I served as Investment Advisor for Maersk, focusing on managing Maersk's investment portfolio in Asia and assisting companies in developing their supply chains locally and internationally.
Jonathan is also an active member of his local BNI chapter and a member of the Halifax Chamber of Commerce.
Previous to joining Fortunestart, I completed a Master of Business Administration in China. As the office manager I am responsible for overseeing and coordinating various admisntrative tasks withien Fortunstart and providing additional support to my team. I believe that the true meaning of life is not to take blindly on the contrary it is more important to share and give.
